If you can resist the urge to use mods to cheat through the liimitations of the game, you'll find it's a good challenge and great fun.
And this is all before you get to the fact that the modding community is incredibly robust and has already created several new maps, classes, entire packages, etc to keep the game fresh for a long time. Once you've reached the end of the game you unlock the mapworks, which allows you to purchase (in game, not real money) extra maps to run to level instead of smashing the same things over and over. OmegaDL50 9 years ago 5 In a sense New Game+ is essentially an endless game mode. It's layers and layers of rewards for leveling. Just a map vendor after you beat the game. You get pts to spend on your stats so you can customize your playstyle, as well as a talent pt for abilities, and then the abilities get bonuses every few pts.
Additionally, the level of customization awarded for leveling gives a much greater incentive than merely unlocking a glyph for an ability. The randomization works much more effectively, making repeated maps feel less stagnant, and the visuals are more compelling and varied as well. All of the things you find annoying were just implemented improperly. I just hate the "In order to hit max you must level through the same stuff four times and then after that grind for gear till you want to stab the closest person".Throw out all your conceptions of the genre from playing D3. Hm.well playing through twice isn't all that bad as I can do that with several games already.
